The Dog Walking Workshop delivers the essential skills for walking your dog.
What we cover:
- How to walk on a loose lead;
- Dealing with distractions;
- Engaging with your dog;
- Getting focus!
- Existing around other dogs;
- Socialisation.
This interactive workshop will teach you to manage your dog when out of the house so you are able to enjoy walking your dog. We work with you to make sure you have the right walking equipment for your dog to ensure safety and easy and effective communication.
Each session includes specific activities focused on being around other dogs to promote calm and relaxed behaviour. You will learn how to get and hold your dogs attention around distractions and strategies to manage everyday dog walking scenarios.
The walking workshop is suitable for dogs who pull on the lead, get excited or anxious around other dogs, are easily distracted and lose focus.
